This suite and tablescape concept, created for The Knot magazine's 2022 winter issue, was inspired by a winter wedding at Brush Creek Ranch in Wyoming. To preview the elegant, European-inspired design of the event, so used a classic textile design, the "Strawberry Thief" pattern by William Morris. To bring in a modern touch, we added the bold blind embossing on the dark navy paper. On the website card, we actually embossed a flower shape that came directly from the Morris pattern. Lastly, we wanted to acknowledge the incredible setting at Brush Creek without going overboard with a "Western" theme, so we pulled in textures and motifs that remind us of the ranch without being too on-the-nose - wood, leather, and a foil-stamped circular monogram (it's an H inside an O for the couple's initials) designed to look like a modern version of a ranch's cattle brand.
